Mortgage Calculator Alteration

Just a quick note to mention I've changed my mortgage calculator so that both years and months can be filled in instead of just months. No more getting the calculator out to see how many months in 19 years :)

Nice little tool, i appreciate its just to give a rough idea figures, but it would be nice to have......

a provision to put in 2 rates, as most mortgages have a discount rate for the first few years.

or if you really adventurous, some way of factoring in that people are likely to re-mortgage every few years, with an arrangement cost being added to the loan each time.

Hi Dan,

Thanks for the feedback, it's very much appreciated.

I think putting in two or more rates is a fantastic idea, however this would need to be done in such a way as to not scare people away because it looks too complicated. Maybe if I had two calculators - simple and advanced - that would work.

I'll add your ideas to the TODO list and have a think about how to implement them.

Thanks once again.
